Sustainability award winning business Marlec Engineering make wind turbines in Corby.

They made their business premises more energy efficient and reduced their energy costs by adapting a range of measures, including switching to energy saving lighting. Replacing old fluorescent lamps with new, energy saving LED tubes helped them save 60% on lighting costs without affecting light levels in the office.

“Our business works with an absolute focus on sustainable energy solutions. We’ve invested in electric cars and eco-friendly packaging,” said Adrian Dennis, Managing Director. “But upgrading to LED lighting is low-cost, and one of the simplest ways any business can save energy, promote sustainability and save money on utility bills. We’d encourage other businesses to upgrade as well.”
